“She is an amazing woman! She works as a nurse practitioner and she also teaches clinical for D’Youville College. She is an incredible Nurse Practioner and is preparing the future front line nurses!” -Caitlyn Rykse, Eileen’s daughter

“This warrior is working hard on the front lines as a Neuro ICU nurse at Buffalo General Hospital. If that wasn’t enough, she is spending her free time making caps and masks out of material to distribute throughout her hospital! Jacki continues to show selflessness and love to all around her during these challenging times!” -Jillian Perillo, Jaclyn’s sister

"My mom works in the laboratory performing the COVID test. She had to adjust her hours and gown up, work under a special hood, changes her masks and gloves repetitively. Sometimes she has to work 12 hours, and the next day her eyes are blood shot, from wearing the mask so many hours. She gets frustrated when the samples are not capped properly and the specimen is leaking in the bag. When she arrives home, she leaves her shoes in the garage, enters the laundry room and removes her scrubs. She takes a shower and goes right to bed. Since my Dad and I are home from work, she makes sure she takes all precautions to protect us! I would like to repay her in many ways.” -Lisa Derrett, Anne Marie’s daughter

“My niece Nichole is a newly married RN at Buffalo General Hospital on a COVID floor. Her and her husband recently bought their first house and moved themselves during the quarantine without any help from the family or friends for fear of Nichole passing any germs from work. Not only did they move themselves but they can’t get WiFi/cable installed or buy any furniture! This would be a nice treat and pick me up for a nurse who has put her new married life on hold to help others!" ⁣⁣⁣-Sandy Parker, Nichole’s aunt
